asia in the rear-view mirror

Today we counted to figure out that we've spent 4-1/2 of the last 6+ months in Asia. That ends tonight. Wow. We're on our way to Australia now, which we're super excited to explore. We are so grateful for the "play time" the Father is giving us, not to mention the cushion of a cultural stepping stone.

I wonder what Asia will look like in our rear-view mirror. To be honest, we never would have chosen to come to Asia, so it's funny that it's dominated our trip. But we've loved so much of it and been introduced to an important side of the world that we couldn't really appreciate without our time here.

Praying for your continued safe travels as you go to Australia. California still misses the Miller's. A note for J: I did not really realize how important my times of being counseled were with you until they were over. You have been and continue to be (in words previously spoken to me) a spiritual leader and friend. A note for Brooke: Keep him safe on your last legs of the journey. He may have picked up bad habits from Billy and I. Haha. Love you both.

Sometimes God has plans that we just weren't expecting. I'm sure there is a reason for all of it.

What part of Australia are you going to be in? Britt's family lives in Melbourne. If you're around there, we should try to get you guys hooked up with them. I'm not sure how long you're there or if you have specific plans, but her fam could probably give you another good meal and some memories. Let me know.
